What I love most about custom design and redesign is creating jewelry that will be cherished by future generations in your family. My Custom Design and Redesign process is personal and sentimental. When we work together, my goal is to honor and understand your personal history with the heirloom pieces you’d like redesigned or your vision for the new piece you’ve dreamed about. From engagement rings, to anniversary gifts, to transforming something old into something new, I absolutely love bringing your vision to life.
I special in diamonds, colored stones, and pearls and have nearly 20 years of experience working with talented master craftsmen creating one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces.
Unlike chain jewelry stores, when you work with me, you’re truly getting a personal handcrafted piece of art. From your budget, lifestyle, and personal preference — every element is considered to make sure your piece is perfect for you.
The Experience
STEP 1
The first (and most important!) step in our time working together is us getting to know each other through a consultation. If we’re creating a piece from scratch, we’ll talk all things design, style, and other jewelry pieces you love. If we’re redesigning a piece of jewelry, I want to hear the story of the piece and what makes it special to you so the new design incorporates both everything you love about it and all the elements you want to change. I love hearing you and your jewelry’s stories!
STEP 2
Once we’ve gotten to know each other, it is time to talk technical and practical details so we can begin the design process. I consider the little details like how often you go to the gym or spend time outside or if you prefer to have a piece you can wear without worrying about taking it off. I’ll create a beautiful design plan for you, then a wax model of the piece so you can see how it looks and feels when you touch and wear it.
STEP 3
Once you’ve approved the design plan and wax model, I work with my talented master craftsmen partners to create your jewelry piece. Every intricate detail is meticulously crafted for quality that will last generations. Then comes my favorite part — presenting you with your new jewelry piece! In addition to creating your jewelry, I’m also here to help with ongoing jewelry maintenance and repairs.
